BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE
Behavioral science as a group of disciplines has many dimensions and its findings have wide ranging applications to the manner in which humans function in various societal settings.
HUMAN PERFORMANCE Organizations are concerned with the behavior of all who come in contact with it directly or peripherally. This includes employees, customers, patients, visitors, consultants and on many occasions the general public.
Behavior can be influenced in many ways. The physical environment plays a major role in behavior and SEG integrates the knowledge bases of Environmental Psychology, Anthropology and Architecture to enhance WELLBEING.
By assessing performance / behavior in an organizational setting, SEG develops specific programs to enhance performance and preferred behavior leading to an increased state of well-being for individuals, the organization and the community.
SEG employs a unique proprietary technology that detects stress induced physiological changes in individuals and groups without any physical contact This biocom technology then identifies potential and realbehavioraltime behavorial changes.
Areas of investigation and design are as follows:
A. EXISTING BEHAVIOR AND PERFORMANCE
B. DESIGN OF INFLUENCING FACTORS:
- Ergonomics
- Stress
- Symbols
- Way-finding
- Sensory impactors (noise, odor, lighting, color, vibration, electromagnetic fields)
- Process systems
- Functional individual / group relationships
C. ENHANCEMENT OF PREFERRED BEHAVIOR:
- Physical environment
- Stress reduction
- Supportive protocols
