This important information is for property owners, developers, builders and subcontractors who want to better understand important building and site development information that directly affects their project’s ability to properly function for a long period of time (its Sustainability and Environmental Performance). Sustainability and Environmental Performance have become the latest words in the construction lexicon. True Sustainability is concerned with all of the issues listed below. 4. Soil conditions / How they influence construction
5. All Infrastructure and Utility considerations
6. International, State and Local building Codes and Political considerations
7. Energy / Environmental Design considerations (LEED)
8. Heating, Ventilating, Air-Conditioning considerations or problems
9. Building orientation concerned with climatic conditions:
Wind forces / Tornados, Hurricanes, Straight Line winds and Snow / Ice conditions

20. Contract information
All of these issues strongly influence the final design of buildings and their site with special construction as required.
This consulting service does not entail architectural design or construction drawings or construction inspection services during construction. It involves providing information as to the many important details regarding the construction that you wish to undertake on your property and how to protect yourself from unnecessary costs, improper or poor quality materials and construction mistakes made by those you contract with to provide labor and materials on your project
We strongly encourage property Owners, owning or developing both large and small projects, to carefully consider retaining SEG’s registered consulting Architects before they Remodel, Renovate, Redo, Rehabilitate, Rework, Rebuild, or construct new Buildings on their properties.
Our professional design and construction programing advice includes code, cost and important general information dealing with a wide variety of hidden problems that often can be detrimental to Owners’ pocketbooks as well as the health, safety and welfare of their building’s occupants. In addition such advice provides information that can help an Owner avoid future litigation.
Such consulting advice is inexpensive, as the savings in New Construction or future Reconstruction costs or in Project Value is most often many times greater than the Consulting Architect’s fee, billed on a negotiated fixed fee or a reasonable per hour basis depending on the size of the project.
There is no charge for the first meeting with a client. If retained to do consulting work, the Architect will then meet with the client on the client’s site.
If you need professional construction and / or design advice WE CAN HELP YOU, as we have helped hundreds of corporations, organizations and individuals that needed such information.
