SCHNEIDER USA, Plymouth, Minnesota
A new branch of Pfizer Industries, Schneider (USA) manufactures sophisticated catheters used in medical research and clinical procedures. This facility combines research, manufacturing, and warehousing for these products under one roof. The manufacturing program, including 85,000 sq. ft. of special environments, required that 12 distinct environmental cells be designed each with its own criteria for temperature, air flow humidity and particulate and served through a utility tree system. They were designed to various clean room standards. This project required significant human factors design and was created in collaboration with Opus Corp.
