K-6 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, Minneapolis, Minnesota
 

This indestructible Concrete Windome school is to replace a 90 year old conventional building in an older area of the city.  The 43,000 square foot school will house 400 students and a day care center, at a projected general construction cost of $5,000,000.  The estimated roof and exterior wall repair savings are projected to be approximately $510,000  and those maintenance savings along with the estimated energy savings of $4,200,000 along with the savings in construction cost for this class A facility, will pay for the cost of  the facility in less than a twenty year period.
