CEDAR RIVER COMPLEX, Bloomington, Minnesota
A 240 unit senior housing project with attached recreation facility and underground parking. This building was the third of three buildings, containing a total of 488 units built on the site. CEDARCLIFF, the first building constructed in the complex, was the first three story frame structure that the International Conference of Building Officials (lUBC) allowed brick veneer facing to be placed on all three stories. Also for the first time, the State of Minnesota permitted the elimination of fire walls separating areas of the underground garage parking areas.
